Our wedding planners are dedicated to planning weddings of all sizes and have significant experiences with couples  where the bride or the groom are not from Colombia.

We enjoy significantly our work, we are proud of our service and also of the opportunity to be part of such important event. It is a celebration of life and love and an opportunity to share with friends and family an unforgettable memory.

We work with a selective and extensive group of providers in Cartagena that offer the best options and allow for the perfect balance of  excellence, service and cost.

Here are the key services that we offer as Wedding Planners:

• We help the selection of venues for the event and send you pictures and information to help you in your selection
• We also confirm the priest, notary representative or religious authority for the ceremony and we offer the option of bilingual services when required.
• We advise you and give you guidance for selection of vendors for the menú, music, decoration, photographers, wedding details and  any other element required for the event.
• We send a list of required documents for the marriage, civil or religious and we help you with the processing of the paper work in preparation for the event.
• We prepare preliminary budgets that are evolving as decisions are being made by the couple. As the planning is evolving, we prepare  the final budget to help you finalize contracts and finalize deposits and payments to the vendors.
• We prepare itineraries (for visits to Cartagena prior to the event), and a detailed plan for the day of the event that you can review and approve. Based on this plan we coordinate rehearsal meetings with the vendors and focus on every detail to ensure the logistics and planning are perfect.
• We coordinate the rehearsal of the ceremony and help with any special details that the couple wants to include.

Wedding Requirements for Cartagena

It is easy for couples of all over the world to be married in Cartagena. There are basic requirements that need to be done. For civil ceremonies, those documents include the need for birth certificates recently issued and with an appostille, a letter indicating that your are eligible (single or legally separated) with appostille. Additional documents are required based on your nationality, etc. Various types of religious ceremonies are common since Cartagena celebrates diversity including Jewish ceremonies, Orthodox, Catholic, Christian and gay marriages.

Cartagena also has magnificent churches in the old city that are beautiful and full of history.   In addition, many non Catholic weddings are done in the beach or in the “baluartes” the top of the walls of the city.
